Effective Keyword Research and Analysis Process

As all of us know Keyword Research and Analysis is one of the primary aspects in any SEO Campaigns. Intelligent keyword research and analysis will boost your SEO Campaign and will get you more results. Every SEO Consultant would say that the keyword research and analysis area is the most important one in terms of laying your foundations for SEO with minimum options. Everyone has the same set of keyword research tools and written procedures, so what makes the difference?

Be Clear about your Niche:
Well, before developing any SEO strategies you need to understand your Niche. What the website is dealing with and what kind of service or products it offer? Or, it is purely a content website? Without being clear on your Niche your SEO process cannot be successful, because at end you might have taken a wrong turn.

Use More Tools and Choose the Best out of it:
All of us would have settle down to one favorite tool which we think would be the best one. But it is not a wise decision sticking to just one tool that narrow downs your possibility of finding out better keywords. We should always try as many tools as possible and get everything out of it. You can use Google Adwords to get the realistic keywords, and SK tool to know the search number and competition of it. By using different tools, you might get good number of keywords with greater probabilities.

Try not to pick “Exact Keywords”:
Remember, in SEO its more about doing things better than doing things right. You know your niche and their might be N Number of SEOs will probably in your same niche and will target the same Exact keyword. So track the competition of each keyword and try to select those keywords which come under your niche. Once you achieve the best out of those keywords you can concentrate on the “Exact Keywords”

Look in to your Competitors:
Looking in to your competitors plays a vital role in keyword selection process. Find your competitors that falls under you niche. Look at the keywords used by your competitors. It does not mean that you must use all the keywords used by your competitors, but you need to select keywords in such a way that it has low completion and moderate number of search counts.

Generate keyword list and group it:
With the above mentioned process you might have generated a huge list of keywords. It is highly impossible task to promoted every keyword and achieve Top Rankings. You need t group your keywords in such a way that it can be promoted at the equal intervals or keywords that gives immediate results. Try grouping lesser competitive keywords first and once you have gained momentum or achieved results then leverage on it for the bigger ones. This will save time and will make your process smooth.
